Automotive Technician

PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage.
Over the last 35 years we have grown to offer a wide range of specialised services .With more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.
We are currently seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Technicians to join us within our PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team. This role's function is to inspect and validate the suitability/compliance of Vehicles to Customer and Legislative requirements.
What you will do:

• Pre-Delivery tasks/ inspections in accordance with set instructions/ standards
• Fit out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
• Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time

What you will bring:

• Manual Drivers licence
• General automotive diagnostic and automotive accessory fitment experience
• Experience in servicing all makes and models
• A good eye for detail and problem-solving skills highly sought after
• Diagnostic problem solving ability

Nice to have:

• Mechanical Trade (or part thereof) qualified preferred but not necessary
• Team Leader experience an advantage
• Dealership servicing experience ideal but not necessary
• Previous experience in Automotive Trade and Quality Systems
