You will be responsible for:
Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of the vehicles presented to us
Working mainly with our European side of the business as we have become busier and busier in the European prestige market.
Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases and digital reporting systems.
Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical and diagnostic issues and changes relating to the ever changing industry - External training courses are encouraged/provided and paid for.
Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
Ensuring the safe work practices of all Apprentice staff.
Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to our valued customers.
As our ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and attributes
Highly motivated and self driven
Ideally European motor vehicle experience
Customer Service focused
Good organisational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task where required
Ability to contribute to building and keeping a positive team spirit
Hold a current and valid driver's license
Hold a minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Clean and smart personal presentation.
