We are seeking a full-time B1 Licensed Engineer and a full-time B2 Licensed Engineer at our Essendon Fields base. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join an esteemed maintenance organisation giving valuable exposure to the aviation industry. This position will support our licensed engineers and the broader engineering team on a variety of jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft mechanical components and systems.
Skills and Experience:
- Sound knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC);
- Current driver's license;
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative to problem solve;
- Pro-active and positive attitude;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and the ability to work unsupervised;
- Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail;
- Commitment to comply with company policies and procedures;
- Hold safety as a core value.
Essential Qualifications
- CASA Part 66 Licence;
- Experienced licence coverage on Cessna/Textron products preferred but not essential as type training can be offered;
- Experience with jet, turboprop and multi-engine aircraft preferred but not essential as type training can be offered;
- Experience in Business aviation preferred but not essential as type training can be offered.
