You must:
- be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate/skilled migrant.
- have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
- have knowledge about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP, PHP frameworks like Laravel, and REST API.
- be committed to a career in your field of study.
- be able to work at least 3 days per week.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
You could be provided work experience in the following areas:
- In-depth understanding of various server-side frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Spring Boot, Django).
- Mastery in handling server configuration, deployment, and optimization.
- Proficiency in multiple backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Skill in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Understanding of API security best practices and performance optimization.
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving complex backend issues.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Effective collaboration with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
