This innovative and disruptive app is being built for both IOS and Android and is using the latest technology to build and take to market.
In this role you will be making a big impact working with a collaborative team in an agile way, exploring new ideas and finding solutions through development work. The majority of this role will be focused on Backend Development however an understanding of Frontend Development and how it all ties together would help in this position. If you are passionate about working on an exciting project with new products this could be the right role for you to help contribute to the success of this organisation.
This role is 5 DAYS A WEEK IN THE NORTH SYDNEY OFFICE. Due to the pace of development and collaboration across different departments, this highly rewarding role will be full time office based.
This role directly contributes to a brand new app product which will impact the way that brands and people work. The team are highly experienced and work together to troubleshoot any issues and help find the best solutions to move forward. In this position you will be utilising the most modern and innovative technologies to help you upskill and enhance your development experience.
You will have:
- Good communication skills & problem solving ability
- Experience with Backend Development – IOS, Android and React
- Strong understanding of Node.js and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of relational databases
- Excellent coding ability and demonstratable work in Git
- Nice to have – experience in front end as an understanding of how your backend work will affect and shape the front end will help
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Implement, test, and bug-fix new and existing functionality
- Analyse system requirements and prioritize tasks
- Communicate with the team involved in the development process
- Keep on top of industry trends
