We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bar/Gaming Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality service across our gaming floor and bar area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Tray Service on Gaming Floor:
- Efficiently and courteously provide tray service to gaming patrons, ensuring prompt delivery of drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organised gaming floor, adhering to regulatory standards and club policies.
Cocktail Making:
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages to patrons, following standard recipes and ensuring consistency in quality.
- Display creativity and flair in cocktail presentation, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Bar work:
- Undertake all aspects of bar service, including taking orders, mixing drinks, handling cash transactions and maintaining a tidy bar area.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring availability of beverages and ingredients at all times.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, greeting them warmly, addressing inquiries and attending to special requests.
- Build rapport with guests, fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the venue.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines and gaming regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following hygiene standards and implementing appropriate safety measures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a gaming or bar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Current RSA certification and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certificate.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
