Form of workKings Beach Surf Club, overlooking the iconic Kings Beach Pool, is known for its quality meals, great customer service and amazing views. The Club is currently seeking an experienced Barista/Kiosk Attendant to join the Pavilion Kiosk on a casual basis, offering 30+ hours per week.
The role
The role involves delivery of an outstanding service to our members and guests. Using a combination of your customer service excellence, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- promoting coffee sales through delivering quality coffee products and service;
- enhancing the café experience to all members and guests;
- food preparation/short order cooking;
- responsible for cashing up;
- operating a cash register; and
- general cleaning.
About you
You will be friendly, energetic, customer service focused, well-groomed and be able to work well in a team environment. A passion for the hospitality industry and making coffee is a must! You will also have:
- barista qualifications and experience preparing a variety of coffee options;
- food handling experience;
- experience using a deep-fryer;
- the ability to work on a flexible 7 day roster including week days, weekends, public holidays and school holidays;
- the ability to work 30+ hours per week between 5.30am and 3pm;
- possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position; and
- have your own transport.
