The Parkhouse Cafe is a well established cafe in East Toowoomba. Our environment is busy and energetic with each day providing new rewards and challenges. Our cafe seeks to offer a service that will exceed customer expectations, with friendly efficient service and great food. We have a solid regular customer base although was also see many tourists being located directly opposite queens park gardens. This role would suit an ambitious upcoming hospitality professional with the opportunity to advance in the future.
Fast track advancement to a supervisor or duty manager roll available for suitable candidates. This option would require demonstration of alignment with our values of high level customer service, attention to detail & strong work ethics.
Flexible employment options are available we offer full time, permanent part time or casual roles depending on the individual needs of employees.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum six months experience as a barista or food and beverage attendant in a busy environment required.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Wait tables and operate cash registers.
- Prepare hot and cold beverages.
- Serve preprepared sweets and cakes.
- Serve alcoholic drinks.
- General cleaning including pack down of section.
- Restocking section for next shift.
- Assist team members in other sections as required.
