Sporties Barooga is a great story. Back in 1981, a bunch of like-minded working-class town folk had a vision to build a modest licensed venue that would support the neighbouring recreation reserve and foster sport. Sporties employs over 200 people across hospitality, accommodation, 36-hole championship golf course, bowling, aquatic facility and gymnasium and partners with dozens of community and sports groups.
About the role.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic individual who has a passion for providing supervision of children within a safe and engaging environment.
The role will involve supervising the children of parents / guardians using BARC Facilities aged between 6weeks to 10 years of age from 8.30 to 12.30pm 5 days per week (weekdays). Other aspects of the role include customer service, cleaning, etc. We are currently looking for our next child-minding superstar to join our BARC team.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Children Services and / or experience in child minding/ supervision
- Valid NSW Working with Childrens Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Demonstrated well developed child supervisory skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of Creche Programs and / or a willingness to be trained
