Job Summary: As a Bartender/FOH team member at Six-Tricks Distilling Co., you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the seamless operation of our vibrant cocktail bar and tasting room. Your primary responsibilities will encompass bartending, customer service, and front-of-house operations, contributing to the overall success of our distillery.
Responsibilities:
- Cocktail Artistry: Craft and serve a variety of high-quality cocktails, aligning with our spirit offerings, while maintaining inventory control to maximise profitability.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their overall experience, answer questions, and make recommendations.
- Impeccable Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and uphold high hygiene standards within the bar area, ensuring guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Beverage Knowledge: Stay informed about our spirits and cocktails, educating guests and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Event Support: Assist in event coordination, collaborating with the Venue & Events Manager to ensure the success of events hosted at the distillery, including running distillery tours.
- Point-of-Sale (POS): Operate the POS system efficiently, handling transactions, processing orders, and managing cash accurately.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including responsible service of alcohol, health and safety, and food safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the bar and FOH team to maintain a smooth and organized operation, assisting in various tasks as needed.
- Upselling: Encourage upselling of premium spirits and additional menu items, including retail to increase sales and profitability.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and relay customer feedback to improve service quality and product offerings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous bartending experience, with a strong foundation in cocktail preparation and mixology.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Basic knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- Compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification.
