Batcher/Plant Manager (Concrete - Eastern Suburbs)

The focus of this role will be the batching and dispatching of concrete. 

Reporting to the production manager your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Batching of orders to specified mix designs using COMMAND and the docket dispatch system;
• Managing the day to day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including accurate stock control, monitoring & recording.
• Tracking & Scheduling / allocating of trucks to corresponding and designated jobs
• Managing day to day activities including the overseeing, supervision & management of production staff.
• General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance, along with the safe operation of a front end loader.

What are we looking for?

• A strong focus & commitment to safe work practices and level of understanding
• A sense of urgency whilst maintaining a focus of OH&S
• Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience;
• A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus;
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• A current HR drivers license and FEL ticket will be highly regarded;
• Excellent communication skills
• Developed computer/IT literacy
• Experience in the management of a minimum of 10 staff members
