  • $75k Base + Super + Car Allowance + Comms ($160-180K OTE Year 1)

The Opportunity 
  
The BDM will be responsible for driving new business – there are multiple roles available targeting a range of verticals within the SMB market.
Whilst you will have a lot of support from the marketing and inside sales/lead generation team to attend pre-booked meetings, a large portion of this role will be proactively targeting new customers through cold calling and referrals.
You will act as a brand ambassador focusing on increasing exposure and building relevant industry relationships which will be a key component of growing market share.
You will have the freedom to work from home, however a large portion of the role is face to face with clients in person and via Zoom.
The Person 
  
You will need to be a proven hunter, someone who enjoys short sales cycles and loves getting in front of customers, this role is perfect for those that want to capitalise on a highly lucrative commission plan.
  
To be considered, you will need to have at least 2-3 years sales experience, our client is open to what you’ve sold but suitable backgrounds could come from B2B Services like recruitment, waste management, transport, media, real estate, automotive sales, you may have even run your own company previously and know what it takes to build a successful sales business from the ground up.
  
It is essential that you have worked in a pure new business role and can articulate your sales methodology and talk through performance against targets throughout your career, our client is looking for candidates who have a proven track record of exceeding expectations and have a high work ethic.
  
You will need to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be extremely well presented.
