The successful candidate will
- Achieve new business targets
- Identify new prospective customers and develop solutions and strategies to close each opportunity
- Develop pricing, service, and product strategies to deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Maintain and report pipeline and closed activity
- Ability to utilise the strength of the internal network to effectively prospect and qualify leads
- Work closely and successfully with the internal teams to ensure effective customer onboarding and customer service.
Essential Skills Required for this role are
- Proven experience in sales in freight forwarding / International Logistics
- Evidence of increased sales within current customer portfolio
- Customer acquisition experience
- Routinely meets or exceeds agreed targets
- Actively seeks opportunities to grow the business and increase profitability
- Understands, communicates and creates solutions to meet customer needs
- Ability to engage and build strong and profitable relationships
- Uphold company culture and high standards
- Must have full Australian working rights
- Full Australian driving license
