Early Autism Services Australia (EAS) is a global organisation with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. 

Our Vision is to provide holistic services to autistic and neurodiverse individuals and families, and education that leaves people more informed. 

Our Mission is to develop personalised behavioural therapy programs that support families to work hand in hand with licensed professionals to create positive interactions and measurable outcomes for autistic children.

We offer Allied Health services including Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy and we also offer Behaviour support programs.

We are searching for an entry level or experienced Behaviour Therapist who lives in the South-eastern Suburbs of Melbourne (Cranbourne North and surrounding suburbs), that will excel in a collaborative environment and who knows the true meaning of teamwork. At EAS, we have fun and celebrate success - this includes success for the individuals and families we support both in-clinic and in-home, as well as the success and achievements of our team members.  

A Behaviour Therapist's duties and responsibilities include:

  • Working with children in a number of skill areas under the direction and supervision of a Behavioural Analyst
  • Implementing strategies and procedures as they are defined by a Behavioural Analyst’s programming
  • Collecting, recording and discussing data with supervisors
  • Involving children's family, school, and other community members in therapy sessions
  • May be required to travel to the home or community setting of each client within their assigned caseload, or see the client in-clinic.

Job requirements include:

  • NDIS Worker Screening 
  • Working with Children check 
  • Current first-aid and CPR certificates
  • An active driver’s license, car, and a willingness to travel between clients’ locations if required
  • Availability of at least 3 week days between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
  • Experience working with young children or children with disabilities is beneficial to your application but not essential.
  • A Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) credential is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior training in Applied Behaviour Analysis is beneficial but not essential.
