Form of workRoster:
The role is FIFO from Darwin working 14 days on and 14 days off. If you reside outside Darwin, you will be required to fly yourself to Darwin (at your own expense) in order to mobilse to site for your roster.

If you like to keep fit the gym, tennis courts and swimming pool is available to keep you active. With so many facilities to offer, the 14 days will go so quickly, ready to return home.
Role Type:
BENCH HAND:
To assist in bench preparation
To move blasted material as per Mine Plan
To assist with charging and initiating blasts to produce waste and ore as per Mine Plan
Water roads and blasted stocks in a safe and efficient manner
Responsible for undertaking role to deliver the weekly plan to a high quality
Responsible for the performance of pre-start checks, hazard identification and PRAs (Personal Risk Assessment)
The Preparation and Set-up of a blast area
SHOTFIRER:
The shotfirer supervises the blast crew and others, who assist with blast operations. The shotfirer is responsible for monitoring and addressing safety throughout the blasting process including safe handling, usage and transportation of explosives. Shotfirer is also responsible for training blast crew on the bench and ensuring all site policies and
procedures are being followed.
Organising and controlling the explosives for the shot and ensure that Magazine's explosives records are always balanced.
Ensuring the safety of themselves and others when handling or using explosives and their ingredients
Comply with and enforce the requirements set out in the Standard Operating Procedures
PROCESS:
All suitable candidates will be required to undertake a Pre Employment Medical, Inclusive of Functional Capacity, Lead Bloods, ILO Chest Xray and a Drug & Alcohol examination.
