Bench Store Manager - Girrawheen

At The Reject Shop, we're not your average retail store, and we're definitely not looking for an average Store Manager. We're on a mission to make shopping a fun and exciting experience, and we're looking for a retail superstar to join our team as Bench Store Manager for our stores in Western Australia located North of the river.

As a hands-on retail Bench Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting multiple store locations within the region. More specifically, you will step in and lead stores in the region that need additional support. Your base store would be our Girrawheen store however you would be expected to work in any of our stores in the region.

You will lead and inspire store teams to achieve sales targets, deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain operational excellence.

You will be the driving force behind our store's success, leading by example and creating a high-energy, fun atmosphere for our team members and customers through:

• Store Leadership: Provide effective leadership and guidance to store teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Sales Management: Drive sales performance by implementing effective sales strategies and achieving KPIs.
• Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Team Development: Train, mentor, and develop store teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational or customer-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Flexibility: Provide coverage and support to multiple store locations as needed, adapting to different store environments and challenges

What you can bring to TRS:

• Retail Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets through effective sales strategies.
• Operational Knowledge: Solid understanding of retail operations, including stock management and merchandising.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to travel and provide support to multiple store locations within the region.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
