AddressOur client is looking for a BI Analyst to help them leverage technology advancements and to expand services and create innovative teaching and research models.
The Role
In this role, you will act as a bridge between the business and IT communities. You'll work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop BI solutions. You'll also be involved in designing, building, and maintaining reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions.
- Participate in data cleansing, transformation, and improvement activities.
- Recommend system and process improvements.
- Identify and manage projects to optimize business efficiency.
- Evaluate and select solutions based on user impact, cost, and specifications.
- Coordinate testing and document user manuals.
- Relevant university degree (business, IT, computer science) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with business users to define requirements.
- Experience with BI projects, data modeling, transformation, and migration.
- Experience working in complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS SQL Server, and Data Warehouse architecture.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
$115,000 to $135,000 depending on the right profile.
