Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. If you are already working in a consultancy role, or have excellent client-facing skills gained within large organizations, we would like to discuss our consultant opportunities with you. We are looking for BI Engineers to join our team for a project involving Teradata Migration outcomes in Ada (Databricks platform). This project entails designing and developing replacement reports for Personal Banking Campaigns on Ada, focusing on leveraging PowerBI to replace existing Tableau reports.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Design and build replacement reports for Personal Banking Campaigns on Ada using PowerBI.
- Ensure high performance by understanding and optimizing PowerBI's interaction with Databricks.
- Develop security models and cubes within PowerBI to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to influence design decisions and ensure a high-quality, polished output.
- Provide expertise in visualization and UX design to enhance the look and feel of reports.
- Start data migration activities as soon as possible, with the flexibility to progressively onboard resources if necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Candidates must possess relevant visas, Australian Permanent Residency, or Australian Citizenship.
- Familiarity with the Financial Services Industry is advantageous.
- Proven experience in PowerBI design and development, including security models, cubes, and direct connections.
- Strong understanding of the Databricks platform and its integration with PowerBI for optimal performance.
- At least one resource with a strong background in visualization and UX design, coupled with excellent communication skills to influence design decisions across stakeholders.
