We're seeking a highly experienced Bid Director to spearhead our billion-dollar Design & Construction bids. With a minimum of $1 billion D&C bid lead experience, you'll be at the forefront of our most ambitious ventures.Key Responsibilities:

• Proven Track Record: You must possess substantial experience in international or Australian major infrastructure projects. Your expertise in this realm is crucial to our success.
• Specialised Expertise: Experience in transmission and renewable energy projects is highly desirable. Your familiarity with these areas will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of our upcoming ventures.
• Client Engagement: While experience with private sector clients is preferred, your ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships is essential. Your adeptness at understanding client needs and delivering solutions will set you apart.
• Availability: Ready to hit the ground running? We need someone available starting July 2024, prepared to dive into our projects head-on.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in bid management, with a focus on leading Design & Construction bids totalling at least $1 billion.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international or Australian major infrastructure projects, including regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with transmission and renewable energy projects is preferred, along with a strong grasp of construction methodologies and techniques.
• Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to engage with clients effectively, understand their requirements, and tailor bid proposals to meet their needs.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary bid teams to success, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute bid strategies aligned with organizational goals, while also identifying and mitigating risks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Deadline-Oriented: Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Financial Acumen: Understanding of project finance and cost management principles to ensure bids are financially viable and competitive.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Additional certifications or advanced degrees in relevant areas are a plus.
