AddressThe Bid & Quote Analyst provides support for bid preparation and analysis for Motorola Solutions Australia. The role ensures that all Bid & Quote approvals and governance processes are adhered to.
Organisation Relations:
The Bid & Quote Analyst will work closely with the Sales Account teams, Professional Services, General Managers and Finance.
Authorities:
• Ensure all proposals are authorized and comply to policy
• Maintain and manage Price Lists in accordance to customer contracts
• Manage the Price Approval process

Job Description
- Preparation of Bid P & Ls for proposals, tenders and contracts
- Maintain product cost databases
- Update and maintain Price lists and ensure they are accurate and issued on a timely basis
- Ensure compliance with approval and authorization policies.
- Participate in and lead the bid scrubs process and documenting all approvals
- Ensure that pricing and gross margin information is kept confidential and distributed only in accordance with policy
- Comply with Motorola Quality policies and practices
Basic Requirements
Essential: Accounting / Business related degree
Desirable: Member of a recognised professional accounting body
Experience:
- Analyst or accounting/finance experience, multinational experience in a corporate accounting environment (3 years +)
- Highly computer literate - particularly spreadsheets.
Personal Attributes:
- Good communications skills both written and verbal to explain complex information to all levels of staff and Customers
- Sound planning capability and personal organisation skills
- Capable of working through commercial issues and recommend course of action
- Well developed interpersonal, teamwork and conflict resolution skills
- Self motivated
