The Role
We are seeking an experiences Blast Crew Labourer to join the Drill & Blast team at WA Goldfields region. This position is a permanent full time opportunity.
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in mining
- Hold the appropriate Trade Certificate
- Hold a current driver’s licence – HR license would be preferable
- Able to perform labouring dutieS
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in blasting activities, such as loading and priming blastholes with explosives and operating the stemming loader
