We are seeking personnel to join the Mining - Drill & Blast team in entry-level Blast Crew Labourer roles in Cowal, NSW. This position is full-time permanent on a 7/7 roster for day shift only. Accommodation is supplied in West Wyalong whilst on shift including transport to and from site.
This role involves:
- Assisting in blasting activities, such as loading and priming blast holes with explosives and operating the stemming loader.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous mining experience - advantageous
- NSW Shotfirers Ticket – advantageous
- Hold a current drivers licence – HR would be ideal
- High Risk Fork Ticket
- Able to perform labouring duties
- National police clearance essential
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
