We are currently seeking expressions of Interest from experienced Blast Hole Drillers for permanent and ongoing Full-Time positions at our current and future Coal Projects in QLD's Bowen Basin region.
The Projects that we are currently operating at include: Yarrabee (Blackwater region)
- 7/7 roster Jellinbah (Blackwater region)
- 7/3/5/6 roster Isaac
Downs (Coppabella/Moranbah region)
- 7/7 roster Saraji (Moranbah region) 7/7 roster South Walker Creek (Coppabella region) Baralaba (Baralaba/Banana region)
- 7/7 roster Callide (Biloela region)
- 4/5/5/4/5/5 roster Collinsville (Whitsunday region)
7/7 roster Job duties: Operating our REICHdrill C700 and C750 platform drill rigs (D65 at Baralaba as well) Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressing any maintenance faults Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports, pre-starts etc Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and
Take 5's Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude Willingness to learn and assist blast crew on drill & blast projects (Isaac Downs and Baralaba) Experience and qualifications sought: Experience using platform rotary drill rigs Previous experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coal mining Australian Driver Licence Standard 11 Statement of Attainment RII for Blast Hole Drilling
- RIIBHD301D/E RII for Vehicle Loading Crane (preferred but not essential) RII for Conduct Lifting Operations (preferred but not essential) Successful candidates will be require to undergo pre-employment medical assessments including a drug and alcohol screen.
