We are currently seeking applications from experienced BlastHole Drillers for permanent and ongoing Full-Time positions at ournewly awarded South Walker Creek Coal Project.
Reporting to the Drill & BlastSupervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limitedto:
- Operating our REICHdrill platform drill rigs
- Accurately checking the quality and depth of drill holes and recording ground conditions that may affect blasting
- Maintaining a clean and tidy rig and reporting/addressing any maintenance faults
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage
- Provide neat and complete associated documentation for drill reports, pre-starts etc
- Regularly use safety tools such as JHA's and Take 5's
- Be willing to be trained across a variety of drill rigs in the fleet and show an adaptable attitude
Experience and qualifications requiredand or preferred:
- Experience using platform rotary drill rigs
- Previos experience in Blast Hole Drilling in Black Coal mining
- Australian Driver Licence
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- QLD CMWHS Assessment aka Coal Board Medical
- RII for Blast Hole Drilling - RIIBHD301D or RIIBHD301E
- RII for Vehicle Loading Crane
- RII for Conduct Lifting Operations
