ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to growth & recent new service contacts successfully tendered there is an immediate requirement for 3 x BMS service technicians.
Typically you would work Monday-Friday 40 hours, with an on-call roster, with ample opportunity for overtime if desired, allowing for lucrative earning potential.
To secure this role you will have worked as a BMS service technician and ideally have experience with either Niagara, Siemens, Schneider or Johnston Controls products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Your daily tasks will include service, preventative maintenance and commissioning of BMS/DDC Controls.
- You will commission, service, fault find, repair and provide maintenance of Building Management Systems. This work will include software configuration, testing and commissioning, calibrations and maintenance diagnosis, repair and basic programming.
- The capacity to work independently while managing your work productively and efficiently
- Identifying opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments and new business
- Trade certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation or Air-conditioning / Refrigeration (if not an electrical trade must have a disconnect / reconnect license)
- WHS Construction Induction Card
- Previous experience with any BMS controls platforms is acceptable
- Strong technology knowledge, fault finding and decision-making skills.
- Confidence in quoting small works.
