About The Opportunity
As a Boiler Maker/Welder, you will play a key role in manufacturing, fabricating, and repairing parts and components. You will work in a collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out welding activities to manufacture, fabricate, and repair parts and components
- Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety and production targets
- Carrying out inspections, quality control throughout the manufacturing and production process
- Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors, and team members
- Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care
- Identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace hazards
The successful candidate will have:
- A qualification and/or relevant experience in boiler making or has experience as a welder
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
- Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent quality of work and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Forklift ticket (desirable)
