Job description

Apply now for a Boilermaking Apprenticeship with East Coast Apprenticeships!

  • You will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding)
  • If successful, you will be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers.
  • Get trade qualified within 4 years!

Out of Trade Apprentices are encouraged to apply

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Examining detailed drawings to calculate material and equipment requirements
  • Fixing and assembling metal fixtures
  • Cutting, rolling, shaping and bending materials
  • Heating and treating metal materials
  • Any other tasks requested by the host employer

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Have a genuine interest in Engineering
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Physical dexterity
  • Be well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Safety consciousness and able to work well in a team environment

  • If you have completed a Certificate III or higher since leaving school you may not be eligible for this apprenticeship – we will confirm your eligibility upon application
  • To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
