Boilermaker - Fifo

YAT Engineering and Construction are seeking a Boilermaker for FIFO operations based at Sino Iron Ore in Cape Preston, southwest of Karratha. You will be required to work a 12-hour day shift on a 9/5 roster.

To be successful in this role, you must be experienced with high regard to safety and possess the following:

Skills:

• Previous experience as a FIFO worker in boilermaker capacity.
• Ability to use independent judgement to select construction methods, equipment, and materials to complete a job.
• Excellent time management skills to be able to assess completion time frames.
• High attention to detail.
• Great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a close team environment.
• Possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.
• Experience in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Must have the right to work in Australia.

Certificates, Licences & Tickets:

• Trade Qualified.
• Current driver's licence.
• Current high-risk work licence. (HRWL)
• Construction white/blue card. 
• Working at Heights Certification.
• Confined Space certification.

Advantages would be:

• EWP over 11 metres HRWL.
• Previous Work Experience at Sino Iron Ore.
• Experience with permit to work systems.
