A long standing and market leader within the industry, your new company excels in the heavy and liquid transport industry with multiple sights across Australia. Due to an increased demand for their services, this company is looking to expand their team of highly skilled Boilermakers based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.
About the Role
Reporting to the workshop manager, your new role will see you welding and fabricating parts and trailers for their fleet of liquid transport vehicles. You will be welding and fabricating mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using both Mig and Tig in various positions.
You will be working a 38 hour week across 4 days, with a weekly RDO that can be worked as overtime.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a qualified boilermaker
- Strong Mig and Tig welding/fabricating ability
- Experience welding aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel to a high standard
- Ability to weld and fabricate in various positions (horizontal, vertical up, vertical down, overhead etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A great attitude and OH&S focus
