Due to our reputation of delivering quality work, safely and on-time we have a huge pipeline of won work to deliver for large builders from the Northern NSW to Central Queensland and we need the rigor from talented Boilermakers and Metalwork Fabricators to join our team! Please note - Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
The key duties for these factory-based roles include:
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and confirm fabricated assemblies match shop drawings
- Have high attention to detail and understand complex fabrication drawings
- Must be able to weld to high standards – quality is paramount to our business success and we need to lead the way
- Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding
- Excellent communication skills to talk with details, drafters, estimators, site installation team, Boilermakers etc.
The following competencies are required
- Safety focused - this is our only non negotiable
- Ability to perform all of the above key duties and have exceptionally high attention to detail - our game is one of millimeters
- Qualified Boilermaker or Metalworker or Fabricator
- Be able to manage competing priories and remain calm and diligent while checking despite production pressure
- Excellent planning and problem solving skills
This role will be largely based from our new factory in Cooroy however, some site work may be occasionally required from time-to-time on projects across South East Queensland.
