The Position
Reporting directly to the Project Manager the Boilermaker duties will include:
- Providing advice in heavy fabrication to the team, as required
- Carrying out quality routine and emergency breakdown repairs and maintenance of a variety of mobile and plant equipment.
- Performing general fabrication and Boilermaker duties, including trouble shooting, adhering to drawing specifications, the use of welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting (friction, Oxy & Acetylene, and profile cutting), grinding, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels.
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets.
- Skills, knowledge and experienced required to complete daily tasks to the required performance standards.
- Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
- High level problem solving and organisation skills.
- OHS Construction Safety Induction ‘White Card’.
- High Risk Work License- WP, DG, RB
- Trade Qualification in Engineering – Fabrication.
- WA Drivers Licence.
- Proven High Level Industry Experience
