Boilermaker / Vehicle Body Builder (Fabricator)

Position:Boilermaker / Vehicle Body Builder (Fabricator)

Rates: $48-52 per hour

Hours: 44-48 hours per week (maximum 52 hours per week)

Start and Finish Times:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:15 pm (Max 9.6 hour day)
• Early Finish Fridays: 2:15pm/7.6 hour day
• May work Saturdays: 6:00am to 12:00pm

Location: Spearwood

Responsibilities:

• Craft and assemble various components to create mining equipment, mobile plant, trailers, and buckets
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for precise fabrication
• Safely operate a range of machinery and tools to ensure efficiency
• Perform thorough quality inspections to uphold our high standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production and meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in fabrication, welding, and metalwork
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
