About the Position
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for carrying out various fabrication, welding and assembly tasks within the production team, including but not limited to:
- Operating machinery to fabricate components.
- Welding and assembling larger structures and components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Performing quality control checks, such as ensuring manufactured products meet company standards and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
- Working as part of a team and following all production and safety processes.
About You
To be successful in this position with the voestalpine Railway Systems team, you will need:
- Trade qualification (Boilermaker or Fabrication).
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and pride in your work.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willing and able to complete a pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol Testing
