About the Role
We are seeking skilled boilermakers with high-level structural welding skills to fabricate steel and other metal materials to the highest standards. Along with being involved in innovative projects, you will manufacture, repair, and upgrade equipment, products, and structures including pipe spooling, boilers, pressure vessels, structural steel, rig, and transport equipment.
Role Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and project schedules.
- Fabricate, maintain, and upgrade equipment according to Supervisor's instructions.
- Adhere strictly to the company's Fabrication ITP and API Q1 accredited policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the work area while ensuring equipment is maintained per company requirements.
- May be required to work shifts or negotiate work in remote locations, although the primary role is workshop-based in Toowoomba.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Trade Certificate.
- Ability to qualify to welding procedures.
- Valid QLD Driver's License.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- High-Risk Work License – Forklift.
- Working at Heights certification.
- ISI Induction.
