Our company is a reputable, well respected and established Roof tiling company that has been in operation for nearly 10 years. Specializing in residential housing, we supply and install major home builders with roof tiles.
We require a Full Time Bookkeeper and Administration Officer to join our small close-knit motivated team based in Tullamarine.
We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, good initiative, is progressive and energetic.
You must always project a professional image, be reliable, organized, motivated to succeed, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About the role
Duties include but will not be limited to:
- Completing end to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
- Data Entry of Supplier and Sales invoices into MYOB
- Follow up outstanding invoices
- Reconcile both Customer and Supplier accounts
- Investigate and resolve invoicing queries
- Bank Reconciliation
- Cash Forecasting
- Prepare monthly expense report
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statement
- Review and process employee expense claims and credit card statements
- Processing Weekly Payroll
- Processing Fortnightly Contractor pays
- Superannuation / Work Cover payments
- Monthly IAS
- Quarterly BAS
- General Office Duties

Skills and experience
The successful applicant will possess:
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Experience working in the residential construction industry (not required but very highly regarded)
- Must have a very high proficiency in MYOB (this is a must)
- Strong experience in financial and management reporting
- Excellent IT skills, MYOB, Microsoft office, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Work well under pressure and with time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills

- Exceptional organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure and prioritise.
