Bookkeeper/Administration Specialist

Integral Fire Protection is a family owned and operated business that specialises in the sale, installation, service and maintenance of fire and safety equipment and systems.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Administration Specialist to work with us on a casual/part-time basis (2-3 days p.w.) to manage our day-to-day financial transactions, play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and assist the administration team with sales and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements in Xero and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and invoices
• Monthly statements to clients
• Assist with sales calls 
• Assist the team with scheduling works for Technicians 
• Work closely with the office and management team

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Experience working with simPRO
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Completed or working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferable but we are happy to accomodate someone that is currently studying.
