Integral Fire Protection is a family owned and operated business that specialises in the sale, installation, service and maintenance of fire and safety equipment and systems.
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Administration Specialist to work with us on a casual/part-time basis (2-3 days p.w.) to manage our day-to-day financial transactions, play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and assist the administration team with sales and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements in Xero and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and invoices
- Monthly statements to clients
- Assist with sales calls
- Assist the team with scheduling works for Technicians
- Work closely with the office and management team
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Experience working with simPRO
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Completed or working towards a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferable but we are happy to accomodate someone that is currently studying.
