Job description

Are you looking for a local job and are available one day/week or more, from 9:00am-5:00pm? Artisan Bottling Pty Ltd is 100% Australian-owned, with a locally-based team servicing the artisanal distillers and producers industry. With new owners and a focus on quality, we’re looking to build a team who really care about what we produce, who have an exceptional work ethic, mature attitude, and who know how to have fun as well.

The Botting Operator/Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in our operations by operating bottling equipment and undertaking various warehouse activities, including picking and packing orders, forming packaging and finished stock, and recording incoming and outgoing stock movements. You will need a high level of attention to detail, be very process driven and must be committed to maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment. We're in the early stages of implementing an inventory management system, so experience in odoo or similar would be beneficial.

There’s no need to have experience in bottling or warehousing, training will be provided. You will need physical stamina, be able to stand for extended periods, and lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg). It’s a fast-paced environment and you must be able to adapt to changing priorities.

If you’re interested, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the technical elements of the machinery, how to troubleshoot minor issues, and how to operate our ‘walkie stacker’.

There is the potential for permanent part-time or full-time work, in time. Wages are paid according to the Award Rate for the Manufacturing and Associated Industries Award, MA000010
