Are you an experienced customer service team leader or supervisor looking for the chance to grow your long term management career?

We are on the hunt for aBranch 2IC to join our high performing ToowoombaQLD team in this full time permanent position! This is a unique role that will see you supporting multiple areas within our branch, with a strong focus on both our Customer Care and Trade Store operations.

We are looking for someone who is a confident leader and communicator, and has experience coaching and mentoring a team to success. What your new role entails:

  • Supervise day to day operations of the Branch, focusing on the Trade Store and Customer Care teams
  • Promoting and managing employee development, identifying areas of improvement and implementing training plans to drive the team's success
  • Manage team performance including coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, absenteeism, and disciplinary action where required
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, leading by example to promote a ‘customer first’ attitude, demonstrating and advising on best practice methods
  • Nurture a motivated and driven team culture, championing success and meeting KPIs and targets
  • Collaborate with all local teams including Sales, VMI, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Head Office stakeholders

What you’ll bring with you:

  • 2+ years experience in a fast paced team leader or supervisory role essential
  • Retail experience/knowledge and exposure to industrial products preferred
  • Experience working towards/achieving KPIs, and driving a team to successful outcomes required
  • A ‘Customer First’ mentality, leading by example to drive customer service excellence
  • Resolution and results focused, self motivated, and can prioritise and problem solve efficiently
  • Collaborative and team focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Good computer skills and previous experience with Microsoft Office
