About Us

As the third fastest growing local government in WA, our community is changing.  Sure, there is an increase in number of people who are lucky enough to live, work or play here.  But beyond the numbers, we recognise that how we do things needs to keep pace with community expectations.

Residents located in the suburbs of Piara Waters, Harrisdale and surrounds will soon have their own Library to enjoy. Our brand-new library will offer a hub of knowledge, creatively, and community engagement. As well as a wealth of resources to borrow, libraries offer quiet areas for studying, common areas for collaboration, electronic resources, and a range of events and activities for children and adults.

The much-anticipated Piara Waters Library will be located on the same site as the Piara Waters Pavilion, providing a community hub with a cohesive connection to the existing sports facility. This Library will join our other Community Libraries located in Seville Grove, Kelmscott and Armadale.
