Salary - up to $80,000 + company car + bonus potential
Position Purpose
Working with the Australian distributor sales team and the Australian Brand Manager, the Brand Activator position is responsible for developing, implementing and managing on-premise engagement strategies to build a greater brand presence for Montenegro across NSW. The Brand Activator will act as “the face” of the Brand on-premise.
Reporting Relationships
The Brand Activator reports to the Brand Manager and has no direct reports.
Principle Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Aid the sales team and Brand Manager to implement the brand strategy and brand plans on-premise
• Assist the marketing team with key drink offerings and on-premise strategies by keeping abreast of bar culture trends.
• Assist with and/or execute brand events as planned in conjunction with the marketing team and/or State Manager
• Build positive relationships with both on-premise customers and consumers
• Build brand loyalty across the market and help drive brand awareness and rate of sale
• Support, develop and activate existing customers to increase demand for our brands
• Identify and facilitate bar training opportunities throughout the on-premise channel through partnering with SP Brand Ambassadors
• Acquire new customers, open new distribution points and support the sales team where required
• Manage the assignments and placing of POS material to maximise the brand impact in on-premise
• Bring to life the brand lifestyle proposition
• Develop strong and lasting relationships with Key Accounts, industry figures, social media influencers
• Analyse market trends to identify potential growth opportunities
• Lead drinks development using relevant recipes
• Collate and produce weekly/monthly reporting including CRM reporting
• Other duties as assigned
Skills and Attributes
Success in this role requires:
• 2+ years on-premise experience (bartender, trade marketing, brand ambassador)
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of local on-premise operations
• Respected local on-premise figure with a network of relevant contacts
• Demonstrable strategic sales and marketing experience with a focused and passionate approach
• Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and digital marketing skills across social media platforms
• Demonstrable analytical and negotiation skills
