Brand New Centre - All Roles

Little Harvard Early Learning Campus is a privately owned, Brand New, state of the art, Childcare Centre looking to open early 2024. 

We are looking to establish a team of highly motivated, professional Educators to start connecting with our local owners and the Holland Park community. We are recruiting for the following - Centre Cook, Early Childhood Teachers, Diploma qualified Lead Educators, Certificate 3 qualified Assistant Educators and Float roles. 

Our Team must be passionate about achieving quality outcomes for children and their families. You must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have proven Early Childhood skills. The Roles – 

Early Childhood Teachers and Educators 

We are looking for Early Childhood Teachers, Lead Educators and Assistants that have sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards. Early Childhood Teachers and Lead Educators will also need to have experience with the Early Years Learning Frames, My Time Our Place and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines. Previous Early Childhood experience is essential. 

Centre Cook 

The Cook is responsible for ordering and preparing nutritious meals for our children. They will be required to hold a Food Safety Supervisors qualification and have reasonable experience in the preparation of meals, budgeting, menu planning and compliance in relation to the Approved Food Business. This role will be predominately school hours. 

All team member will be supported by an experienced Nominated Supervisor and Management team. 

Requirements

To be successful in all positions, you will be required to the following:
•    ACECQA approved Childcare Qualifications - Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood Education / Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent / Certificate 3 Children's Services or working towards completion of relevant studies. 
•    Early Childhood Teachers and Leader Educator must be able to meet our requirements for a Responsible Person in Charge. 
•    Suitability Card – 'Blue Card'   
•    Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
•    Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
•    Understanding of the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements
