Dedicated to delivering outstanding service and presenting a meticulously designed French-inspired culinary experience, our goal is to transport you to the heart of France within the cozy ambiance of our intimate bistro located in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Our culinary creations artfully combine locally sourced ingredients with traditional cooking techniques, highlighted by the exquisite La Rôtisserie imported directly from France to guarantee succulent and flavorful proteins. Complementing this, our thoughtfully curated premium wine selection, expertly chosen by Senior Sommelier Chris Entwistle, showcases a diverse array of wines from both local vineyards and distant regions.

The Breakfast Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Management team with the supervision of restaurant operations that maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Delegation and supervision of duties for Front of House staff in support of efficient and smooth operations
  • Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and steps of service are met through all customer interactions. 
  • Maintain service standards including quality, portion sizes, and presentation of meals, beverages, and sequence of service.
  • Oversee that opening and/or closing duties required during their shift are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance of equipment/facilities are maintained.
  • Money handling, including cash-up responsibilities.
  • POS Inventory and maintenance of par levels for front-of-house items 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and be the primary escalation point for all complaints. 
  • Support recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior front-of-house staff.
  • Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in the venue.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations including the Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations.
  • Any other duties within your capability as directed by the Restaurant Manager.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and environment, coupled with the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven work experience working in hospitality, and hotels would be preferred, with specific roles as a supervisor within a restaurant. 
  • Working knowledge of POS devices and cash-up procedures
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and organization skills
  • Experience managing and training front-of-house/bar staff.
