The OpportunityThe engineer who has a minimum of 3 years' experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, including but not limited to identify, isolating, and resolving the root cause of the technical support issues, implementing daily health checks and configuring / managing reporting and knowledge transfer to the team.All candidates applying for this position must be an Australian Citizen and have a current Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
Key responsibilities include:- Experience using Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer
- Perform BAU operations, maintenance, and management of Broadcom DCS.
- Planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
- Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database (Standard Operating Procedures), update detailed design and as built documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Have minimum of 3+ years' experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, including but not limited to identify, isolating and resolving the root cause of the technical support issues, implementing daily health checks and configuring / managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff.
- Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product.
- Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
- Experience in upgrading from Broadcom DCS version 6.7.x to 6.9.x
