Cook/Chef Rate: $25 to $38 per hour - 10 to 25 hours available
Head Chef Rate: $60,000 to $70,000 per year - Full Time position (with mornings and weekends as needed)
Brunch Cook/Chef Responsibilities:
- Preparing and presenting delicious meals
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Experience in kitchens and food preparation
Head Chef Responsibilities:
- Dual responsibilities of cooking and kitchen management
- Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
- An RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol is required for success in this role
- Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
- Clear communication skills - verbal and written
