Do you have attention to detail?  If you have a common sense understanding of buildings, a keen eye for maintenance and potential safety issues and can-do basic maths this role is for you. We provide the training to get started to make money quickly. 

The successful candidate will receive training in our processes, systems, building reports and the company will provide all the equipment to do the work. The role will also have the opportunity to multi skill over time into other products offered by Solutions in Engineering.

The role is critical to the generation of a core group of Building Compliance Report products for small through to large residential strata properties. The role will be employed on a casual basis and will join a team with a great culture and consists of specialists who are drawn from different professions within the Building Industry. 

About You.

Do you have: -

• Experience in the construction and building industry or even as an inspector. Ideally in the area of safety, fire, or maintenance plans with exposure to the Strata and Property Management Industry.
• The ability to plan and manage your own workloads in order to meet deadlines whilst producing quality reports.
• The capability to analyse, problem solve and make appropriate decisions, so the majority of reports are completed independently.

 About the role: -

You will be responsible for: -

• Generate accurate, comprehensive, and relevant reports that meet legislative standards and industry requirements. (Additional training provided.)
• Gaining and maintaining knowledge of relevant acts, legislation, building codes and standards.
• Work un-supervised and with minimum direction.
• Provide and support clients and colleagues with the most appropriate solutions, services, or products.
• Effectively plan and schedule inspections to ensure sufficient work volume and efficient use of time.
• Inspect jobs and submit reports in a timely manner.

This role is on a fulltime basis, and you will join a team of specialists who are drawn from different professions within the Building Industry. 

To perform this role, the successful candidate will be required to travel within Sydney, Regional NSW, and occasionally interstate. We are ideally looking for someone located near and around the Northern Region of Sydney.
