Building Maintenance Supervisor

Aestec Services are currently seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join the Aestec team in Gladstone.

This is a residential role based in Gladstone and not suited to FIFO / DIDO.

We are seeking people who:

• Trade Qualified with demonstrated leadership experience
• Are visible and provide true leadership and mentoring to your team.
• Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance practices across site.
• Manage all material, equipment and labour costs for each of the tasks. Ensure budgets are maintained and ensure all billable items are accounted for.
• Complete OH&S and Quality Assurance documentation.
• Ensure compliance to WHS policies & procedures.
• Liaise with the client to maintain workflows.
• Foster a culture of ‘Zero Harm.

It would be great if you also have:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in site supervision of maintenance works.
• Experience in supervising onsite employees and sub-contractors.
• Plant experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Current ‘QAL/BSL/RTAY’ Blue Medipass (3 site Medipass) or willing to obtain.
• A positive attitude towards yours and others safety.
