Buller Kids Centre is part of the Ski & Snowboard School. Our programs offer children 3 years to 14 years of age quality ski or snowboard lessons for all day or half day sessions. The Buller Kids Centre is seeking assistants to provide organizational support to our skiing and snowboard programs. Applicants need to have a passion for working with children and a proven ability to work independently with strong organizational skills. Patience, a fun & friendly personality and a commitment to high quality is essential.

Working with the youngest residents and guests of Mt Buller requires dedication and flexibility. To be part of the amazing team, it is essential that you enjoy caring for children and approach your duties in a happy and enthusiastic manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordination of meals with hospitality venues, instructors and guests within the programs.
• Ensuring food orders meet the dietary and allergy requirements of guests.
• Positive interaction with children, parents, and ski instructors
• Ensuring individual attention and comfort of children who may be ill
• Set up and packdown of Ski & Snowboard School meeting place
• Make every day fun so learning happens effortlessly
• This is largely an indoor position although you will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

We're looking for people with:

• Enthusiastic and organized applicants.
• Proven experience working with children previously.
• Skiing and Snowboarding skills desirable
• A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and anaphylaxis training (desirable)
• Valid Victorian Working With Children Check card (to be completed prior to starting in the position)
• Highest regard for personal appearance and presentation
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to handle pressure effectively

The successful candidate will possess a strong level of customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
