Bus Driver (Casual) Trinity College Gawler Trinity College is a multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition in northern Adelaide. Trinity College maintains and operates two 25 seat buses. These buses are used to transport Trinity College students to various school related events and locations, during the school day, into the evening and potentially weekends. The Bus Driver reports to the Bus Co-ordinator on all the daily operations of the bus service provided to students at the School.
As a Bus Driver, it is your responsibility to check the oil, water and tyres on a daily basis. It is also your responsibility to fuel your bus and ensure that the interior and exterior of the bus is kept clean. Work hours will vary.
All shifts are casual and it is expected that the driver should know at least the day before what the hours on the next day will be. What you will need to succeed: Driver accreditation (https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/driving-and-transport/industry-services/taxi-and-passenger-transport/apply-for-driver-accreditation) Working with Children Check RRHAN-EC Fundamentals Certificate (https://www.education.sa.gov.au/working-us/rrhan-ec/fundamentals-course-responding-risks-harm-abuse-and-neglect-education-and-care) First Aid (training supplied) Communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally and by Trinity College Values Ability to adhere to a schedule and timeframes Flexible approach to working a range of hours to accommodate a variety of school related travel Able to work during school holidays All Trinity College Staff must comply with the College’s Child Safe Policy and adhere to the Child Safety Code of Conduct
