As the Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for oversight and development of business data analytics and its engagement within reporting systems, the presentation of data through business reporting systems as well as assisting in roster and resource management of Star Aviation’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements from stakeholders.
- Assessing the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and systems.
- Preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and other written materials to stakeholders.
- Assisting senior leaders and project managers in identifying and resolving project issues.
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to aid in decision-making.
- Developing and maintaining business process models and diagrams.
- Participating in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
- Assisting with testing, evaluation, and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contributing to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Evaluate, analyse, and communicate data/systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties/stakeholders.
- Gather, review, and analyse business data for KPIs, financial reports.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a business analysis role
- Experince in Power BI
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and analysis
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with data modelling, data mapping and data flow charting
- Knowledge of process mapping and process improvement methodologies
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations to stakeholders
- Ability to work with stakeholders, developers and testers to plan, design and implement business solutions
- Familiarity with business and functional requirements management
- Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and validating solutions.
