Business Analyst - Manufacturing & Logistics

  • Define success in this greenfield role by supporting in the expanding remit of the team

What you'll do
 
The purpose of this Business Partnering role is to provide commercial support, analysis and insight into meat logistics at Woolworths in partnership with the Greenstock, Primary Connect and Hilton Foods leadership teams. Due to internal movement this is a 12 month Fixed term contract opportunity till May 2025.

  • Ensure financial integrity between Woolworths, Hilton Foods Australia’s manufacturing operations (including 3 Australian manufacturing plants) and freight provider Primary Connect.
  • Design weekly and monthly reporting for our end-to-end meat logistics and inventory; including visualisations of Financial and Non-Financial Key Performance Indicators. 
  • Provide insights to logistics costs incurred in transporting meat across Woolworths Supply Chain and how costs vary according to legs, frequency and other factors.  
  • Business partner to support value-creation opportunities by identifying initiatives to optimise meat profitability and working capital
  • Develop capabilities to generate forward-looking information for meat logistics and inventory
  • Provide Ad-hoc support to the Senior Business Analyst.


What you'll bring

We are looking forward to hearing how you may have demonstrated the capabilities as well as the below experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong data analysis and excel modeling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data.
  • GCP or SAP experience  is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience, able to make the complex simple
  • Strong work ethic and resilience to handle ambiguity
  • CA / CPA Qualification preferred or working towards
